Sally Hannert, ASI Community member and former board member, crafted these
beautiful quilts, honoring local veterans Bob Ayala and Ray Mills with her gift.
Annual Veteran Appreciation Luncheon
ASI Community honors all Armed Forces Veterans with a free dinner for the veteran and spouse. Veteran meals are compliments of ASI Community. The luncheon program annually is featured around November 11th, Veteran’s Day and is held at Antrim County Commission on Aging Senior Center. COA Senior Center and Antrim County Friends of Veterans are special cohosts of this annual event.
Please check our Calendar for details.

Veteran’s Memorial
Located adjacent to our Community Center, the Veteran’s Memorial honors Veterans, Service Personnel Killed in Action, and Civilians. The American Legion Bellaire Post 247 were caretakers of the memorial until mid-2021 when the Post disbanded. Post 247 provided ASI Community a generous stipend in order to maintain the memorial in perpetuity.

For a nominal fee, you can have a brick engraved and it will be placed into the floor of the memorial. Bricks are a maximum of 3 lines and max of 15 characters (including spaces) per line.
