ASI developed a strategic plan and began to advocate for state funding to building an indoor Community Recreation Center (CRC), which would greatly expand its offerings.

2010 – Present

The pole barns are used to organize and store items donated for our Yard Sale. The pavilion houses the summer Farmers Market. The Yard Sale and Farmers Market are held every Friday from May through October. The Activity Center can be rented for private events and provides for regular programming such as Bingo, Billiards, Bridge, and Yoga.

2010

ASI separated from the COA Senior Center and remained a non-profit, fund-raising driven organization geared toward meeting the needs of the broader community. ASI maintained ownership of the property behind the COA and built the pole barns, pavilion, Activity Center and Park.

2009

ASI worked with Antrim County townships to convert the Senior Center into a Community on Aging (COA) organization supported by taxpayer funding.

1997 – 2009

ASI maintained and ran the Senior Center through fund-raising and donations.

Senior Center was built in Bellaire to serve Antrim County
